“Nowadays, audiovisual media is commonly used in networks and it is also a powerful communication tool, documentary cinema represents reality or a possible reality, and we are going to investigate how representation is constructed from the clipping that each subjectivity proposes, generating a collective story based on the sum of the eyes”

MORE THAN WORDS
Light Collectives
· · ·

“Inspired by the work of artists like Richard Weather, Dianne Lucas and Richard Montgomery, who used light to express poetry, social issues or songs in the urban environment, we are going to fuse urban interventions in light with our report of the event. The participants will experiment how to draw the main themes of each workshop and present them in a creative way.
LC has experience in many fields including lighting interventions, urban interventions that aim to allow viewers to experience or understand the relationship between space and social, creating awareness of problems and stimulating thoughts or discussions. They expect this to happen in this workshop.
Optional requirement for participants: bring camera and tripod
Coordination: Light Collective – Martin Lupton and Sharon Stammers
Light Collective is not a standard consulting studio. There are only two people in this company. They are based in the UK but have worked with light all over the world. Their work portfolio includes more than architectural light design projects. It also covers creative educational events, guerrilla, community and light festivals, exhibitions and awards. They also like to make films about light and have their own TV channel. All your work has light in your heart and you have always promoted light and lighting design with the greatest possible audience
